On 1 May 2026, the International Padel Federation (FIP) launched the FIP Academy platform, where coaches and referees can take training that follows a single international standard. The first step is the FIP Foundation Course, also called Coaching Programme Level 0: a 15-hour online course in English and Spanish. Anyone who completes it receives a Coaching Assistant certificate.

What are the levels?

  • Level 0: Foundation Course, an introductory online course;
  • Level 1: FIP Coaching Course;
  • Level 2: FIP Professional Coaching Course;
  • Level 3: FIP Elite Coaching Course;
  • Level 4: FIP Master Coaching Course.

In the 2026 season, Premier Padel is also launching Premier Padel Academy: a calendar of camps and clinics where amateur players can train using FIP methodology.

What does this mean for coaches in Estonia?

Level 0 is an online course, so you can complete it without leaving Estonia, but you need to know English or Spanish. Foreign training systems are already used in Estonia: for example, Padelstar Academy’s coaches have completed training with the Argentine padel association.
