A three-storey padel and business centre with seven padel courts is going up at Tammetõru 11/13 in Tartu. The developer is KA Varad, the builder is Mapri Ehitus and the architectural design is by HG Arhitektuur. The three floors have more than 5,600 square metres of space in total, and the investment exceeds €8 million.

The centre will be run by Padel+ and called Padel+ Uus Maa. The courts will be on the two upper floors. One of the seven is a singles court for one-on-one play.

What will be on the ground floor?

The ground floor will have more than 2,500 square metres of retail and service space. Among the first tenants is Noto Tartu, a showroom for interior finishes. The building’s facade references the traditional belt pattern of the historic Tartu-Maarja parish.

When will the centre open?

The centre is planned to open in autumn 2026, but no exact date has been announced. Padel+ has opened registration for kids’ and youth classes for the 2026/2027 indoor season, and Padel+ Uus Maa is already one of the venues you can choose. Until it opens, you can play at other centres in Tartu.

Ivo Kasak, a management board member at the developer KA Varad, said he believes padel will grow. According to a City of Tartu press release, more than 50,000 people in Estonia are interested in padel.
